I found Yoga in India when I was studying at an international school. It was just outside Pune, where both Iyengar and Osho had their institutes. My first teacher was Gulnaz Dashti, who introduced me to the fundamentals of Asana, alignment and Pranayama. I also explored Osho’s meditation practices and learned about the Tantric perspective on life. I haven’t looked back since. My yogadventure has taken me all over the world, exploring some of the many branches of the Yoga tree, and learned from wonderful and inspiring teachers.
More than identifying myself as a teacher, I know myself to be a student, and a Yogi with a desire to continue to explore and learn from these teachings that help us be better humans in so many ways. This to me is the heart of the practice, and what I want to share with you.
